UPDATE: Poker player Dan Bilzerian was forewarned by the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) on Tuesday to cease disseminating “dangerous” conspiracy theories concerning Israel and the role that its supporters play in the US.
“Dan Bilzerian seems to have been using his online presence to spread conspiracy theories of all kinds, including the classic anti-Semitic trope that Israel controls the media and the United States government,” an ADL spokesperson told Casino.org.
“At a time when antisemitism is already at historic levels, this is dangerous behavior from an influencer. We hope he will take the time to educate himself about the history of these tropes in spreading hate and reconsider his words.”
EARLIER: This past weekend, controversial poker player Dan Bilzerian posted on social media, garnering over 2.2 million views, criticizing Israel and the lobbying group AIPAC.
Bilzerian asserted on X, the former Twitter platform, that AIPAC, or the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, “makes our government put Israel’s interests before ours,” alluding to conspiracy theories.
“[Jeffery] Epstein[‘s] island was an Israeli Mossad op[eration] to blackmail US politicians,” Bilzerian added.
Little Saint James was an island in the US Virgin Islands that belonged to Epstein, a Jewish sex offender who was convicted of the crime.
In addition, Bilzerian alleged, “Covid[-19] was a scam, and we got poisoned while Israeli big pharma made billions, and our Israeli-controlled government and media forced it. The US is an occupied nation.”
Subsequent to Bilzerian's remarks, hundreds of anti-Jewish and anti-Israel postings were posted.
The Jerusalem Post, the main news source in Israel, published an article centered on Bilzerian's remarks.
Bilzerian voiced similar criticisms of AIPAC online on June 10.
“Until AIPAC registers as a foreign agent, we will remain a puppet of Israel,” he posted on social media.
"In case y'all were confused on where I stand, let me be clear, F**k Israel," remarked Bilzerian online on May 28, according to the Jerusalem Post.
Casino.org contacted AIPAC to request a statement. On Sunday, there were no statements available right away.
Bilzerian, 43, has a reputation as a playboy and is occasionally referred to as the "King of Instagram."
He was raised in Las Vegas and was born in Tampa, Florida.
He participated in the Main Event of the 2008 World Series of Poker, placing 180th. In addition, he says he won $10.8 million in a single poker session.
Bilzerian established Ignite International Brands Ltd. in Toronto. Its offerings include water bottles, vodka, electronic cigarettes, and CBD oils. In 2016, he too made an attempt to run for US president.
He was compelled to pay a fine but escaped jail time in 2015 for his careless failure to put out a fire on federal land close to Las Vegas.
With a rumored $200 million in net worth, Casino.org named Bilzerian the richest poker player in the game in January.
Although press sources dispute his assertion that his wealth is primarily derived from winnings at high-stakes poker games, his affluent father—who is well-known for his numerous corporate takeovers—set up a trust fund.
Promoted casinos refer to online gambling platforms that are actively marketed and recommended by various sources, including websites, affiliates, and influencers. These casinos often feature prominently in advertisements and top lists due to their attractive offers, high-quality games, and reputable services.
Instead of having to go to a real casino, players may enjoy their favorite games whenever they want, from any location. Those who reside far away from a land-based casino or have hectic schedules will find this particularly enticing.
In comparison to land-based casinos, online casinos frequently have a greater selection of games. This covers many kinds of table games, live dealer games, slots, and specialty games.
The security and anonymity that come with playing online are valued by many players. Without the possible distractions or social pressure of actual casinos, they can play their favorite games.
Numerous payment options are available at online casinos, including bank transfers, e-wallets, credit/debit cards, and even cryptocurrency. It is simpler for players to deposit and withdraw money thanks to this flexibility.
